OOOOOOH!! YOU MORPHED!!! Thats AWESOME! I never saw your avatar morph before!

oh! and thanks for the compliment on my iguana. I think I'll put him on the coffee table this summer. I want to get into doing mosaics so I can tile my bathroom cabinets and throw a couple of sinks for the bathroom.

But why Happy Benzine???

Wikipedia
Benzene, or benzol, is an organic chemical compound and a known carcinogen with the molecular formula C6H6. It is sometimes abbreviated Ph–H. Benzene is a colorless and highly flammable liquid with a sweet smell and a relatively high melting point. Because it is a known carcinogen, its use as an additive in gasoline is now limited, but it is an important industrial solvent and precursor in the production of drugs, plastics, synthetic rubber, and dyes. Benzene is a natural constituent of crude oil, and may be synthesized from other compounds present in petroleum. Benzene is an aromatic hydrocarbon and the second [n]-annulene ([6]-annulene), a cyclic hydrocarbon with a continuous pi bond.

Why 'Happy Benzene'?

Because the alternating double bonds resemble a smiley face (sort of). :)

One of many ways I kept myself entertained during organic chemistry. ;)

ooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooooOOOO!

happy benzine!

I see it now.

I thought you were referring to a drug effect as a result of ingestion -- but I live in a heavily industrialized area and I know that the benzene here does not result in felicity of any sort!
