ummm. no. I'm not gender confused, and personality-wise, I don't think I'm anything like him. I just have a similar insane passion for the magic of the Great Southwest, and a real knack for pulling the light of that dimension to it's full potential in black and white photography. I'm planning on doing it for years, so I hope to get really good at it. The real secret is being there at dawn and sunset -- I lived in New Mexico for 6 years and know so many nooks and crannies of tiny towns and remote vistas -- it's seared into my soul. I love the entire Southwest. It is truly a magical place.

This is nice in black and white. The contrasting shades of grey come out well.
I like photos of the sky and clouds. I try to take some with a small digital camera. Maybe I'll put some up if you'd care to look.
